If I forgot something at the Lodge how can I find it?
Please inquire at the Front Desk for lost and found items. We keep log of any items found and where they were found. Any items found can be picked up at the Lodge or can be shipped, shipping fees apply.

Do you have quiet hours?
Yes, Deer Valley Lodge enforces a strict No Party Policy in common areas and guest rooms for the comfort and security of all hotel guests, and will not allow excessive noise during quiet hours from 11:00 pm – 7:00 am.
Do you have an elevator?
Yes, we have 1 elevator that is large enough to bring all of your belonging on with a luggage cart.
What is served in your Continental Breakfast?
We serve Donuts, Bagels, Toast, Cream Cheese, Jelly, Cold Cereal, Yogurt, Juice, Coffee, Oatmeal, etc.
Do you have Smoke Detectors?
Yes, we also have a Fire monitoring system that alerts us to smoke damages and fires in the building.
Do you charge a Resort Fee?
No, we do not have a Resort Fee at this time.
Do you have Gift Shop?
Yes, we have a small Gift Shop area located next to the Front Desk that has essentials you may have left behind (deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.), as well as Deer Valley Lodge items, fun toys for the kids, and much more!
Do you have movies available for rent?
Yes, our Front Desk rents DVD’s and DVD Players for a small fee.
Do you have a Game Room or Games available to play?
We offer Ping Pong and a variety Board Games available for your enjoyment at no charge.
Do you have an onsite Laundry Room?
We unfortunately do not have a laundry facility available to guests but would be happy to provide local Laundromat information.
Does your hotel provide parking?
Yes, we provide convenient on site self parking at no charge.
Do you have a valet or concierge service?
No, in order to keep our prices affordable we do not offer these services.
Do you offer a Shuttle Service?
We unfortunately do not have Shuttle Services, but would be happy to provide local taxi and shuttle information.
Do you have smoking rooms at Deer Valley Lodge?
We are 100% smoke free and smoking is not allowed in Hotel Rooms or anywhere inside the facility. There are designated smoking areas outside. There will be a minimum of $100 Smoking Fee + Cleaning Charges added to any Hotel Room that has smells of smoke.
Is your Facility pet friendly?
We unfortunately are not able to allow pets inside the facility unless it is a service animal.
Can we eat food from home in the Lobby?
Our Lobby area, Rusty Nail, & Meeting Space all fall under our restaurant license and guests are only able to have food & beverage purchased from Deer Valley Lodge in these areas.
What recreational amenities do you offer?
We have a 2.5 mile outdoor trail, a 18 Hole Foot Golf Course, a 27 hole Golf Course, a 12,000 square foot Water Park that includes a Hot Tub, 2 Tower Slides, Activity Pool, Zero Depth Kiddie Pool, and much more! We are located just off the Military Ridge Trail a 40 mile long recreational trail open to hikers, bicyclists, snowmobilers, and cross country skiers.
Where is your outdoor hiking trail located?
We have 2.5 mile trail that starts by the Banquet Hall parking lot and winds along the Golf Course for an amazing view.
Can Deer Valley Lodge be accessed via snowmobile?
Yes, we are located just off the Military Ridge Trail and we also have snowmobile parking.
What you doing to protect the Environment?
We have two Solar panels on the property that generate electricity as well as Solar Water Heaters. We operate the Energize system in our hotel rooms to save energy and also have recycling bins around the property. These are just a few of the things we are doing to protect the Environment.
Is there a picnic area outside?
We don’t have an area designated for picnics but there are many nearby parks that can accommodate a picnic, please ask the Front Desk for information.
Do you offer Stay & Play Package that includes Golf?

Do I get discounted Golf if I stay at the Lodge?
Yes, all hotel guests will receive a Golf Discount, please inquire at the Front Desk when booking a Hotel Room to see what the discount will be at the time of your stay.
How many holes does Deer Valley Golf Course have?
We have 27 holes of golf on 3 course: The Valley, The Ridge, & The Prairie.
How soon in advance can I book a tee time?
Tee times can be booked 7 days in advance. Hotel Guests can book tee times as soon as they have their confirmation number by calling the Golf Course at 608-924-3033.
Group Information/Tax Exempt
If I am Tax exempt what do I need to do?
There are several organizations, municipalities and governmental agencies that may be exempt from Wisconsin state and local taxes. We require a signed S211 and a copy of your Tax Exempt Certificate. Please click here for an S-211 Form. We encourage you to have all the documentation faxed or emailed (Amber@DeerValleyLodgeWI.com) to us in advance of your stay. We require all the appropriate forms and documentation in order for the tax to be waived. Taxes will be charged until these items are provided. Information can be faxed to 608-924-1617.
Do you set-up Room Blocks?
Yes, please contact Amber 608-924-1600 for Room Block information and paperwork.
Do you have a Room that we can gather for a Meeting or as a family to open presents?
We have Meeting Room Spaces available to rent, please contact Amber 608-924-1600 for pricing and information.
Do you offer a Company Rates?
Yes, please contact Amber 608-924-1600 to discuss Corporate Rates & Direct Billing options.
Can you make copies or send faxes?
We can make copies & fax when a manager is on duty, a small fee will apply. If there isn’t a manager available, the Gas Station down the road is able to make copies and fax.
How can I request a donation?
Please email (Amber@DeerValleyLodgeWI.com), fax 608-924-1617, or drop off a flyer with information about your cause and we will contact you if we are able to make a donation.
Is a deposit required at the time of reservation?
No, but we do require a credit card on file to guarantee the reservation.
What is the cancellation policy?
Reservations canceled 48 hours prior to Check-In time or more will not receive a cancellation fee. Reservation cancelled after 48 hours will be charge the first nights stay.
Do any rooms have Refrigerators or Microwaves?
Yes, ALL Hotel Rooms come with a small/mini Refrigerator and our suites also come with a Microwave.
If I am staying in a Standard Room can I rent a Microwave?
We don’t have microwaves for rent but we have a microwave in our Continental Breakfast area available anytime.
Are pack ‘n plays and/or rollaway beds available for rental?
Yes, pack ‘n plays and rollaway beds are available on a first come first serve basis for $10 per night.
Can I request to have rooms located next to each other?
If you are making the reservation for both rooms you may request for the rooms to be located next to each other, however this cannot be guaranteed until Check-In. If you are requesting to have your room located next to that of one reserved by someone else, we require both parties to make this request independently. This can be done by each calling Reservations at 608-924-1600 (please be sure to have your confirmation number available). Once both parties have confirmed, the requests will be added to the reservations, but cannot be guaranteed until Check-In.
Do you have adjoining Hotel Rooms?
Yes, we have 4 sets of adjoining Hotel Rooms (King to King, Double Queen to Double Queen, & King to Double Queen) that can be requested, however they cannot be guaranteed until Check-In.
Can I rent a Hotel Room and not get Water Park Passes?
All Hotel Rooms include the Water Park Pass, Continental Breakfast, Wireless Internet, & a Golf discount at Deer Valley Golf Course (Seasonal).
Can extra guests be added at Check-In?
Yes, up to the maximum number of Guests allowed in compliance with Fire Code regulations for your selected room style. 3 People Standard King (K) 5 People Standard Double Queen (QQ), Double Queen Whirlpool Suite (QQWS) Queen Whirlpool Suite (QWS), King Whirlpool Balcony Suite (KWBS) ADA Double Queen (ADA QQ) 7 People King Bunk Bed Suite (KBBS), King Queen Balcony Suite (KQBS)
Do you accommodate late Check-Outs?
Please contact the Front Desk the evening of your stay or the morning of departure to check availability of a late check-out. Some late check-outs may be charged a late check-out fee.
Do you require a valid ID or passport to check in?
Yes, upon Check-In we require a driver’s license and a credit card.
Can we have food from home in our Hotel Room?
Yes, you are able to bring in food from home. We will not be able to store any food for you but you are able to bring a cooler or use a Mini Refrigerator in your room.
Is Internet available in the Hotel Rooms?
Yes, we have wireless internet available for personal laptops & smart phones. For guests that don’t have these items available, we have a computer in the Lobby that is available at no charge.
Do you have any Hotel rooms with a Kitchen?
No, the only kitchen amenities our hotel rooms offer are mini refrigerators and microwaves (suites only).
Can I come to the Water Park before Check-In?
Yes, Check-In is at 3:00 pm but you are able to use the Water Park starting at 1:00 pm.
Can I use the Water Park and not rent a Hotel Room?
Yes, we sell Water Park Day pass for $10 when the slides are operational and $8 when they aren’t operational.
Can we take food into the Water Park?
Only Food & Beverage purchased through Deer Valley Lodge is allowed in the Water Park excluding a few items. (Cigarettes, Glass, etc.)
Do I need Reservations to bring a group of children to the Water Park?
No, a reservation is not needed, however we do recommend letting us know as hours are subject to change without notice based on hotel occupancy, water park attendant availability, and the number of water park passes sold. Slides may be shut down early if no one is in the water park
